Discussing Proposal.
On the 2nd week, 2nd semester of the final year of Bachelors was kinda existing to see what was installed for me. It was interesting to see new faces and old. But lets get back to serious stuff. Met Jone for our Industry Project and was given a lot of ideas as to how to go about with this proposal that I am about to write on. Jone was helpful in terms of giving us confidence since most of us had a sort of terrified look on their faces. But over all Jone's idea gave me my very own idea in terms of extending a workshop I worked for.

Final day
Last week we came together to present all the research we were given to work on and had them all put into one. We had to discuses after weeks of research we had trouble putting together an airbag in terms of spending money and also finding out where we were going to get this done. so we decide to make a 3d model so that it can be better demonstrated and understood. the 3d model will be demonstrated and therefore explained in our group presentation that is to take place next week.
Today is our final day as to where we have to had in this group assignment and also get ready for our presentation. Hope all goes well.

Brain Storming
After another week, we got together as a group and brain stormed our way on other things that is needed to be added to our project, such as globe, national and environmental issues. We came up with a lot of things that need to be researched on. For the design of airbags it was pretty much hard finding side curtain airbags so we decided maybe we could make our own airbag. As for the gas need for the airbag we researched and found Eco safe saltwater that could be used for airbags. As for the group we decide to meet three times a week just to get more work done for this project of ours so that it can be accomplished at the end of this semester.
Till next week, stay tune!

Continues Search for Side Curtain Airbags.
Hello 2012! When the semester break ended for 2011, we as a group didn't get to do much due to two of the team members leaving the country. So once the semester started for 2012 we got straight back into our project. Last week we spoke to Gerry about the airbags and gave us useful tips and ideas. This week we decide to head over to picka parts looking for side curtain airbags, trigger and a sensor but seems luck wasn't upon us that day. We could't retrieve any airbags of what so ever that day. We then decided to drive around looking for a workshop which had parts for sale. We came across 1 just down the road which had side curtain airbags, but the owner was doggy as hell telling us that side curtain airbag doesn't need a trigger or sensor so we thought we'd just look else where hoping we could find 1. As for me researching on types of gases used in an airbag was abit of a problem since most airbags now days use dangerous gas. I found a natural gas called Argon which therefore isn't harmful to people, does not react and also does not combust which is often found on smaller type airbags. With this Argon gas i think we are one step closer to finding out our safe and natural gas used in airbags.

Planning
17th September, 2011. Today (16th) we met up in Uni after class to discuss what we about to do from where we left of last week after signing the contract. Since we installing air bags in a baby seat we decided to meet up with a mate of Peters who installs air bags. Since we have this arranged we are now able to move on further into our project and also discuss what each of our individual task would be in order to complete this project.

The Contact.
7th September, 2011. Finally having our contact signed and now its time to for us to get together so we can work on it. Garry gave us a lot of ideas when we spoke to him and now we confident that we can work on this project. We have decided to come up with a baby seat that has kinetic air bags for babies when an accident occurs to prevent babies from getting whip lashes and so on. With this design we'll be looking into safety and presentation of whip lashes caused during the accident. Till then we'll be meeting up every Wed for our group project and maybe if there is time we can all meet on regular bases during the week.
